A Simple System of Self Sefence

In Krav-maga simplicity is considered of determinate importance to preserve our best chances to survive a physical aggression. Simple movements are short, fast and least fatiguing. Those who had had the bad luck of having been aggressed on a street or somewhere else know, how The difference between a person in a good shape and another one is, that the first one will be able to strike 150-200 times, while the other one will only be able to perform 50-100 strikes in the same range of time. Therefore, a person in a good physical shape will have a much greater chance to get away with all his skin untouched. However, in a long lasting combat? Both of them will be equally exhausted. So far we have two good reasons to keep the movements simple: first, it allows us to spare our energy and our breath and second, a simple movement is shorter and therefore faster.
